It 'still a sweet return, since I am here to introduce my new work: it is called ROCKIN' ROADS is designed by Giulio Argan and exit at Lucca for this year's Tunué.
The graphic novel is about this boy named David - but by all NoDave called because of its extreme intransigence, character and music - that leaves behind a troubled past and moved to Rome, where a university student does not combine much. He joined the metal band Deconstruction, however, playing the guitar and live a beautiful love story with Another musician, Antonella.
Life seems to throw into the breach, and all things seem directed toward a single goal: the creation of his most important dreams. That is, until
from the past that - basically - he has never been abandoned and whose shadow is projected onto any of its choice does not make his return to Tea, the person who, years earlier, had marked his life, for better or for worse , making him what he is now.
This sudden and unexpected return has devastating effects on the lives of NoDave and paradoxically, those that orbit in a distorted sort of domino effect.
This presentation:
Rockin 'Roads talk about rock music, choices, the desire to realize their dreams, but also the importance that can have its own past in making some decisions and the courage of not being influenced by it. In the background, lots of references to rock music and heavy metal, as a heartfelt tribute to this genre and this movement. The book is aimed at those who love the graphic novel introspective, as well as - of course - who is fond of the various branches of extreme rock.
